Shallow oblong form with rounded corners, the high domed hinged cover with a wide band of straight fluting and having a detachable handle formed as looped acanthus leaves, with screw-off wood handle, cover and base engraved with crest, height 14.2cm, length 24 x 16.9cm, weight 39.5oz.
