by Charles Edwards, London 1883
the hinged cover with playful goat finial and anthemion border, the collar embossed with a scene of Bacchus and Pan, the spout and handle decorated with stylised leaf bacchic masks, the slender baluster shaped body engraved with bacchic putti frolicking amongst a fruiting vine, height 34.5cm.
