A George III style carved giltwood landscape overmantel mirror
in the Chippendale style
The central slightly arched rectangular plate flanked by smaller shaped rectangular plates all divided by column uprights, the sides with pierced foliate scrolls surmounted by a pierced cabochon cresting and seated ho-ho bird flanked by pierced rocaille, scrolls, urns and floral sprays with an undulating rock-work, rocaille and scroll work apron below, re-gilt, 115cm high, 165cm wide (45" high, 64.5" wide).
