A George II carved giltwood and gesso mirror
The later rectangular bevelled edge plate within a moulded, punched and sanded border with husk decoration, and an acanthus carved border, the sides hung with drapery tails and tassels, surmounted by a broken swan-neck pediment and centred by a foliate cartouche, the shaped apron below centred by a carved shell, 69cm wide, 128cm high (27" wide, 50" high) .
