An early 19th Century Federal period carved mahogany tea table
in the manner of Duncan Phyfe
The rectangular swivel top with canted angles above a plain frieze with central tablet carved with riband tied tasselled drapes above four reeded and leaf carved baluster supports, on quadripartite base reeded and carved with a large stylised sunflowers and flattened turned finials, on cabriole acanthus carved legs and hairy lion paw feet, with castors, 91cm wide, 45cm deep, 76cm high (35.5" wide, 17.5" deep, 29.5" high).
