A late George III mahogany secretaire bookcase
The cavetto moulded cornice above a pair of pointed arched astragal glazed panelled doors enclosing three adjustable shelves, the lower part with a secretaire drawer with ebonised line-inlaid ovals enclosing five pigeon holes, a pair of four satinwood veneered drawers, one long satinwood veneered drawer and a gilt tooled leather inset surface, above a pair of panelled doors, on ogee bracket feet, 118cm wide, 56cm deep, 222cm high (46" wide, 22" deep, 87" high).
