The upper part with shaped dentil moulded cornice with five turned urn finials, above two arched astragal glazed doors enclosing two adjustable shelves, the interior later fitted with removable silk panels, the lower part with secretaire drawer enclosing a fitted interior comprising seven pigeon holes and seven small drawers with ivory handles complete with later green leather gilt tooled writing surface, over three long graduated drawers on a shaped apron and outswept bracket feet, labelled to the reverse, 'Anderson 28/9/53', 102cm wide, 55cm deep, 250cm high (40" wide, 21.5" deep, 98" high).
