Footnotes

  • Helena Mary Ibbotson (1877-1962) trained at the Sheffield College of Art and played an active roll in the Sheffield Art schools throughout her life. In 1924 she became a Fellow of the Sheffield Artcrafts Guild. In 1928 she was regarded by one of her contemporaries, Joyce Himsworth, as "undoubtedly the best enameller in Sheffield".
