Pissarro moved to Coldharbour, Surrey, in November 1915 and is listed as having stayed with Mrs Ansell until July 1916. Pissarro was made a naturalised English citizen in July, at which point he moved to The Old Manor, Sedgehill, Shaftesbury, Dorset.
