    The present work is probably a scene near Achill Sound and can be dated 1916-19 on stylistic grounds. A similar composition exists entitled Connemara Landscape (S.B Kennedy, Paul Henry, Paintings, Drawings, Illustrations, Yale University Press, New Haven & London, p. 194, cat.no 460 (ill.b&w).
