A famille rose and iron-red square tray
Iron-red Daoguang seal mark and of the period
Each straight side decorated on the exterior with a central gilt shou character between confronted dragons painted in iron-red, the stylised bodies forming double rows of leiwen, between borders of ruyi-head and stiff lappets, the interior divided into nine sections by lines of gilding, each section containing delicate plants including prunus, orchid, lotus and peony, wood stand and box.
