The body painted in a deep indigo-toned underglaze blue with six evenly-spaced blossoms issuing from a foliate meander above stiff lappets and classic scroll on the foot, the shoulder with pendent ruyi-head and a floral scroll, the flaring neck with long stiff lappets pointing upwards towards the ruyi heads below waves at the rim. 38.3cm (15 1/8in) high
