    The inscription may be translated as:

    Amidst the rain and fog in Jiangnan.
    In the second month of autumn in wuwu year,
    before the Mid-Autumn Festival,
    elegantly appreciated by the intellectual Lu Qin,
    written by Wu Haifeng in Changjiang.
