A fine gilt-bronze seated figure of Guanyin

The seated figure with unusual long curling locks of hair and tightly curling eyebrows, moustache and beard beneath a simple circular tiara supporting the small figure of the Amitabha Buddha and surrounding the smooth ushnisha, the robe with incised borders falling from the shoulders to reveal the bare slender torso, the hands held in dhyana mudra and the legs crossed in the lotus position.
