Two cloisonné enamel jardinières
18th/19th century
The first lobed oval jardinière enamelled around the side with trees bearing auspicious fruit such as peach, pomegranate, finger citron, and possibly loquat, all amidst cloud scrolls and bats; the other with lotus sprays, all reserved on a turquoise ground, the rims variously decorated with floral patterns above the key-fret border, the underside with a cracked-ice diaper ground on one and plain turquoise on the other, both supported on lobed feet with floral sprays.
