The vessel carved with great intricacy and delicacy in high relief encircled by four energetic writhing dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amidst cloud scrolls, raised on a stepped foot surrounded by elaborate swirling waves, the cover surmounted by an openwork carving of a finial enclosing a writhing dragon, the lustrous stone of white tone with attractive apple-green inclusions, wood stand, box. 21.5cm (8in) high (4).
