A green and russet jade mountain
17th/18th century
Carved as an unusually irregular triangular section of mountain range, one side with two elderly bearded travellers ascending a path to a flight of steps between pine, the other with a tall cluster of leafy pine hanging over a waterfall carved from a creamy area of inclusion, the mountain range indicated by asymmetric overlapping planes, wood stand, box.
23.5cm (9¼in) wide (3).
