Two Yixing teapots and covers
18th century, seal mark Yang Baonian (on the unglazed teapot)
One of square form modelled as if wrapped in a scarf knotted over the cover and enamelled with scattered roundels on a turquoise ground, the handle and spout with pink and white flowers on a blue ground, 18.4cm (7¼in) long; the other hexagonal inscribed with a poem and a grassy floral spray, above decorative borders stamped with continuous leiwen motifs and small deer, four-character mark on the base 17.9cm (7in) long.
