Of wide form, the roiro ground shading to fundame with mura-nashiji, lacquered with two ladies and a young attendant watching fireflies at night beside a stream beneath overhanging willow branches, in gold and slight-coloured takamakie with kirikane highlights and slight aogai inlay, the interior of nashiji with kinji edges, signed Nariyuki/Seishi saku with seal Imaizumi; with wood ojime, carved with a rat, signed Kacho. 7.9cm (3⅛in).
