The kinji ground decorated in gold and slight-coloured takamakie with a design alluding to the Noh play 'Takasago', depicting Jo and Uba cleaning beaneath pine trees with a minogame crawling at their feet, the reverse with a crane in flight over an inlet, with details highlighted in kirikane, the interior of rich nashiji; signed Kajikawa saku with tsubo-shaped seal Ei, with glass bead ojime. 8.8cm (3½in) high.
