A pair of enamelled ovoid vases
By Kawamoto Masukichi, Meiji Period
Decorated in enamels and gilt with a complementary scene of warriors in battle as a fire in the distance spreads towards them, beneath a simulated-silk border, both necks applied with two loose-ring handles; signed Seto Kawamoto Masukichi sei.
Both 44cm (17¼in) high. (2).
