Finely painted in enamels and gilt, the body decorated with a continuous and extensive view over a lake with boats sailing before Mount Fuji looming in the distance, in the foreground a procession of children enacting a Daimyo gyoretsu, some on horseback, some carrying halberds and other associated paraphernalia, signed Sozan, with integral domed cover pierced with three heart-shaped apertures and painted with millefleurs, the base signed with seal Sozan seizo with the Yasuda Company trade mark and Satsuma mon. 11cm (4¼in) high.
