Decorated in enamels and gilt, the interior painted with a family of chickens foraging for food among flowering plants, the exterior with a flock of sparrows in flight above seasonal flowers including botan (peony), fuyo (cotton horsemallow) and kikyo (Chinese bellflower) growing on a river bank, signed Hankinzando. 9cm (3½in) diam.
