A cloisonné enamel baluster vase and cover

Worked in silver wire with two lobed panels of birds among flowers and foliage on a turquoise ground, separated by bands enclosing butterflies and shippo-tsunagi above lappets containing a ho-o, the midnight-blue-ground cover covered with an intricate design of swirling foliage and stylised kiku, repeated on the bracket handles, unsigned.
