Two cloisonne enamel vases

Both worked in silver wire of varying gauge, one vase decorated with a flock of sparrows in flight beneath the simulated rope-tied cloth hanging over the shoulder, reserved on a blue-grey ground 16cm (6¼in) high; the second a large globular vase and cover, boldly decorated with shishi frolicking between two lobed panels enclosing contrasting kacho-ga, reserved on a bright red ground, 27cm (10½in) high; both unsigned.
