An inlaid silver box and cover
By Setsumei/Yukiaki, made for the Maruyoshi Company, Meiji/Taisho Period
Supported on four bracket feet, the cover decorated in shakudo, gilt and silver honzogan and worked in katakiribori with a crane in flight and perched on the twisted branch of an old pine tree, signed with chiselled signature Setsumei/Yukiaki koku, the underside stamped jungin (real silver) and with the mark of the Maruyoshi Company; with wood storage box. 4.1cm x 12.1cm x 9.2cm (1 5/8in x 4¾in x 3 9/16in).
