A Tokyo School bronze group of a mother and two children
By Kazumasa, Meiji Period
The woman wearing a kimono and standing in waraji, carrying her younger son on her back, bending over to turn to her other son tugging at her sleeve, whilst his brother attempts to reach for the dragonfly tied around a twig held in the older boy's hand, signed in sosho script Kazumasa with seal Toto Hidemitsu Kansei (production supervised by Hidemitsu), all fixed on an irregular-shaped base.
