Footnotes

  • 葦に鷺図銀花瓶 美久作 明治時代

Six metal workers including four tsuba makers under the name of Yoshihisa are recorded by Wakayama Takeshi, Kinko Jiten (A Dictionary of Metalworkers), Token Shunju Shinbun-sha, Tokyo, 1999, p.228. The quality of the workmanship on this vase would suggest that this artist is one of these.
