Raised on four bracket feet, worked in typical gold nunomezogan, the hinged cover with a shaped cartouche enclosing two shrines within a temple precinct, bordered by pine trees, the sides of the box with four rectangular panels depicting phoenixes in flight and birds among seasonal flowers, the base stamped with the double-mountain mark; with wood storage box. 3.1cm x 7.7cm x 5.1cm (1¼in x 3in x 2in).
