Two emakimono, the first painted in ink and colour on paper, depicting eleven erotic scenes of love-making with ten couples, among whom the women are taken from different social classes, the last picture with one group love-making scene, unsigned, 31.2cm x 403.5cm (12¼in x 159 5/8in), with cardboard storage box; the second handscroll, painted in ink, colour and gold, mounted with six scenes of couples making love, possibly inside Edo Castle, unsigned, 15.5cm x 168cm (6 1/8in x 66 1/8in); with wood storage box.
