Two fan-shaped paintings in ink and colour on gold-leaf paper ground, one depicting a bird peched on a rock by a stream among sho-chiku-bai (the auspicious combination of pine, bamboo and plum) growing along the banks in early Spring; the other with Autumnal flowers including, fuyo (confederate rose), kikyyo (Chinese bell flower), yuri (lily) and ominaeshi (patrinia), unsigned; the third a print of a sparrow flying among bamboo, signed with undeciphered seal. All framed and glazed, both fan paintings (excl.frame) approx.19cm x 50.5cm (7½in x 19 7/8in), the third 45cm x 34cm (17¾in x 13 5/16in). (3).
