Decorated in gold and slight-coloured takamakie, with an extensive landscape, depicting the open verandah of a mansion, from where a koto is visible from behind the sudare, overlooking a river with maple, pine, kikyo (bellflower) and other Autumnal plants are growing on the banks, with discreet details lacquered in gold kirikane and togidashi, the underside of rich nashiji; unsigned. 2.7cm x 33.5cm x 24.7cm (1in x 13 1/8in x 9¾in).
