The first of two cases, each side carved with a mokko-shaped panel, one carved in relief with a seated snarling tiger, the other with a dragon in a storm, unsigned, 8.2cm (3¼in), with a partly-gilt iron ojime; the second of three cases, lacquered in gold takamakie with a dragonfly over a trailing plant, unsigned, 9.2cm (3 5/8in); with a Shibayama ojime, inlaid with takaramono, signed Hoko, with a wood netsuke of a toad on a folded sandal, signed Masanao.
