A wood Noh mask of Kibatobide

Painted on a gesso ground, representing the spirit of a fox or other terrestial spirit, shown with a gaping, open mouth exposing a wide, red tongue and both the upper and lower teeth, the eyes ringed in gilt, the reverse signed with seal Nakamura Naohiko; with silk brocade cloth and bag. 20cm (7 13/16in) high.
