Raised on four bracket feet, typically decorated in Shibayama style with a central scene depicting a group of five temple servants before a curtain strung between flowering cherry trees to make a flower-viewing enclosure, enjoying the hanami season, one wearing a Tengu mask and holding a yari enacting a play with his female companion cheering him on, another beating a drum, the fourth playing the flute, the fifth party member drunk in front of his empty sakazuki, framed by a silver border engraved with floral sprays and ho-o; signed in a tsuishu-lacquer reserve Mitsuyuki.
