The Goddess of Literature and Music dressed in sumptuous robes, wearing an elaborate head-dress and draped in a long billowing sash descending from across her shoulders as she plays the biwa, her attendant standing to her left, clutching the long handle of a basket containing pomegranates, unsigned. 13.6cm (5¼in) high.
