One by Ono Seimin and one by Ono Ryomin, Meiji Period
Comprising one group of three itinerant entertainers, one holding a drum and baton whilst his two companions donning animal headdresses dance in accompaniment, signed Ono Seimin, 7cm (2¾in) high; the second an okimono netsuke of an oarsman ferrying across the river a sarumawashi, his pet monkey, two assistants and a traveller with a mule on a small boat, signed and dated Meiji juichinen shi-gatsu Ono Ryomin (made by Ono Ryomin in the 4th month of 1878) with kakihan; 3cm x 5.1cm (1 1/8in x 2in).
