Three ivory figures
One by Kyobun and one by Seifu, Meiji Period
Comprising: a farmer standing with his hand to his mouth and bearing a toothless grin, carrying his young grandson on his back, an apron filled with persimmons is tied to his waist at the front, signed in a tsuishu-lacquer reserve Kyobun, 19.1cm (7½in) high; the second an old man walking holding a lantern in one hand and a large reticulated empty wicker basket over his shoulder in the other, 17.2cm (6¾in) high, signature tablet missing; the third a fisherman with one foot resting on a rock, as he hauls in his net from the sea calling out to his companion, signed Seifu, 18.7cm (7 5/8in) high.
