The first of four cases, lacquered in takamakie with the precincts of Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto, unsigned, 9.2cm (3 5/8in); with a rare gilt-metal ojime in the form of a crab in a cave; the second of three cases, in the form of a tea jar in a brocade bag, decorated with dragon medallions, in gold and slight-coloured takamakie, unsigned, 7.9cm (3 1/8in); with bone ojime; the third a gold lacquer, four-case inro, with an eagle perched on a rock in takamakie, unsigned, 7cm (2¾in).
