A miniature kabuto (helmet)

The eight-plate bowl suji-bachi with gilt pimples, and kiron mabisashi, surmounted by a four-stage gilt iron and shakudo tehen kanamono, the underside gilded, signed Myochin Muneyuki; in a black-lacquered wood box supported on six legs, inlaid with a cockerel medallion in aogai and with gilt-metal mounts, inscribed Kabuto, Myochin Muneyuki saku, Hyuga no kuni no junin; with storage box. 6.4cm x 12cm (2½in x 4¾in).
