Eight shakudo sword fittings
19th century
Comprising: a set of fuchi-gashira, kurikata, kaeshi-zuno and fukurin, each of shakudo nanako, inlaid in gold and copper takazogan with cranes flying over waves, pine trees and minogame, the fuchi signed Takushijo; a kurikata and kaeshi-zuno of shakudo with gilt dragons over carved waves unsigned; a circular two-part menuki with gilt kirimon, unsigned, 2.5cm (1in); and a shakudo and gilt menuki of Hotei and karako, unsigned, 6cm (2 3/8in); with wood storage box.
