The kogai of shakudo nanako, with a dragon and tiger in dispute, in takabori, signed Goto Mitsunori with kao, 21cm (8¼in); the first pair of menuki of shakudo, in the form of running dragons, signed Goto Senjo with kao, 4.8cm (1 7/8in); the second of shakudo, in the form of horse-bits, unsigned, 2.2cm (7/8in); the third of shakudo and gilt, each in the form of two running horses, unsigned, 4cm (1½in); the fourth of copper and gilt, in the form of rats on daikon, unsigned, 3.5cm (1 3/8in); with storage boxes.     Mitsunori was one of the go of Goto Shujo (c.1725-1750), the youngest son of Goto Seijo.
