The first of iron, of Kyo-sukashi type, pierced with myoga and karikane, unsigned, 6.4cm (2½in); the second of shakudo, of oval form, engraved in Yokoya style with Watanabe no Tsuna and the Rashomon demon, unsigned, 6.7cm (2⅝in); with wood storage box; the third of dark shibuichi, of mokko form, engraved in similar style and inlaid in gilt with a tiger stalking around a thick stand of bamboo, inscribed Soyo with kao, 6.7cm (2⅝in); the fourth of shakudo, carved and pierced with a large mantis and wheel, gilt details, unsigned, 7cm (2¾in).
