A pair of shakudo tsuba for a daisho
Attributed to Ishiguro Masatsune, 19th century
Each of oval form, bearing a tight nanako ground, inlaid with a bird standing among dandelions beside a winding stream, the dai with a bird flying overhead, in two shades of gold and shibuichi and shakudo takazogan, signed Ishiguro Masatsune with kao; with tomobako, bearing a hakogaki by Dr Sato Kanzan, dated 1968.
