An aikuchi tanto koshirae with koto seki blade

The blade of hira-zukuri form, uchizori, with sanbon-sugi-ha of nioi, itame-hada, the ubu-nakago with two mekugi-ana, signed Kaneyoshi; koshirae: the saya of straw-inlaid brown lacquer; the integral fuchi and koiguchi, kashira, kurigata and kojiri and kaeshi-zuno of shakudo ishime with horses in relief, with copper and gilt menuki of running horses; the copper kozuka cast with horses, partly gilt, inscribed haruaki with kao. The blade 21.5cm (8½in) long.
