The blade of hira-zukuri form with bo-hi on either side, distinct notare-ha of nioi and masame-hada; the ubu-nakago with kiri-yasuri and one mekugi-ana, signed Morihisa tsukuru; koshirae: the saya of mottled red and gold lacquer; the shiiremono kozuka wih New Year emblems; the tsuba of plain copper; the fuchi-gashira of plain black lacquer and the gilt menuki in the form of spools of thread.
