Of lenticular form, the kinji ground with clouds of mura-nashiji, lacquered and inlaid with a continuous scene of Narihira mounted on horseback, viewing Mount Fuji, his attendant on the reverse, in gold and slight-coloured takamakie with ivory details, the interior of nashiji, signed for the lacquer Shokasai and for the inlay Shibayama; with pierced ivory ojime.
