Two ivory netsuke
One by Shibayama and one by Kiyokatsu, 19th century
The first in the form of an egg, made in two halves, the body inlaid with birds in iridescent mother-of-pearl, the one himotoshi inlaid with stained ivory, signed in a raden reserve Shibayama, 4.5cm (1¾in); the second of a cluster of seven gingko nuts, of various sizes, signed Kiyokatsu, 5.7cm (2¼in).
