A wood netsuke of a wild boar
By Kokei, circa 1820
Lying with its head raised, its body twisted slightly to the left and its legs drawn in, one forming the himotoshi, the slightly-worn wood bears a good patina and the eye pupils are inlaid, signed Kokei.
4.3cm (1 5/8in).
