Of wide form, bearing a ground of sparse nashiji with mura-nashiji, lacquered with dense clumps of kiku growing around an openwork fence, in gold and slight-coloured takamakie with details of inlaid aogai, beneath clouds of kirikane, the interior of nashiji, signed Toyo with kao; with cast-metal ojime, decorated with kiku in low relief, signed Tenmin, and an ivory manju of formalised kiku form, unsigned.
